I have a rule for a dimmer light switch in the master bathroom that is giving me problems, the rule goes like this; IF the bathroom motion detector detects motion, and the time is Nighttime, and the bedroom lights are OFF, turn ON the bathroom dimmer light switch to 25%, start a timer for 3 minutes, and turn OFF the dimmer ONLY if the dimmer brightness is set at 25 percent.
My problem is with the last ONLY statement. For some reason the timer shuts OFF the bathroom lights even IF I turn the dimmer brightness up to 100 percent.
The rule says the timer should ONLY turn off the bathroom lights if the dimmer is set to 25%.
You might be wondering why I want a rule like this, the reason is simple. Lets say you wake up in the early morning hours to take a shower and the rule is triggered BUT you don't want the lights to shut OFF after 3 minutes. So you turn up the brightness from 25% to 100%. This should keep the lights from turning off, but it doesn't for some reason.
Any ideas as to why?
