My plan is to shut down our servers, delete all of our database tables, then terminate our Amazon AWS account altogether.
Once that is done, I'll be contacting all third parties that don't have an online developer portal and ask them to delete all access tokens for Stringify's oAuth client ID (how third parties identify us). For those that do have a developer portal, I can just login and do it myself (such as Nest, Automatic, and others).
If you have SmartThings, we don't have a way to remove the authorization ourselves, so I encourage people to go in and simply delete the Stringify 'SmartApp' from within the SmartThings app.
Anyone is welcome to request an account deletion at any time through our app as well. My account deletion script first deletes all flows, then deletes all Things (which will automatically remove our access tokens), then finally removes your actual account.
Note that this forum is hosted by us on Amazon, so once I shut down our servers, this will be shut down as well. email@example.com will remain active for a few weeks.
