Warning: More iOS 12 + Siri Shortcuts content!
Consider this an advanced feature that there is no official support for!
Make sure you watch the video I posted earlier today on how to get Siri Shortcuts to run a flow via Connect:Maker.
I've got a Siri Shortcut that will get the value of a variable (letting Siri reply with the value of a variable when asked)
Shortcuts can run other shortcuts.... so here is an example of a shortcut action:
- URL: (Connect:Maker URL)
- Get Contents of URL (This will run a Stringify flow. An example flow would be Connect:Maker --- Traffic --- Functions:Variables, setting the value of the "traffic" variable to current traffic time)
- Wait 3 Seconds (wait for flow to complete)
- Run Shortcut ("Get Stringify Variable")
- Speak Text
Obviously getting the traffic is something that Siri can do natively, so this is just to get your creative juices flowing...

I'd love to see what people come up with using this!
