I know this isn't up to Stringify, but it's frustratingly difficult to find a way to output sound. My Google Home Mini should provide sound output, but it doesn't - it can only act as a trigger. My Ring Chime unit should support output of custom ring sounds, but it doesn't - it can only produce a few canned ring tones, and only via private triggering by the Ring doorbell, not via Stringify.
When we went away for Christmas I wanted to have the Ring doorbell trigger a sound of dog barking, and the only way I could find was to haul out an old DVD player that auto-plays the disc in the drive when it turns on. Burned the dog-barking sound to a rewriteable CD, connected the DVD player to a TP-Link switch, and Stringified the switch to the Ring doorbell trigger. It seems like a primitive way to get around current limitations.
