TL;DR - How to say 'else' or 'if variable is not equal to' .
I have a variable that I want to use as the if condition. If it is 0 then do something, else do something else.
Any way to do so?
I can't find a way to say if not 0 because often it is simply not set.
Here's what I have:
- Light tracker flow to set the variable to 1 or 0 according to light status. Used both brightness and on/off position.
WHEN my Dimmer Switch turns off... THEN set variable to 0
WHEN my Dimmer Switch turns on... THEN set variable to 1
WHEN the brightness on my Dimmer Switch rises above 1%THEN set variable to 1
WHEN the brightness on my Dimmer Switch fell below 1% THEN set variable to 0
Unfortunately sometimes this flow does nothing. I also tried 'if is on then 1, if is off then 0' but it also doesn't always work (maybe it could be neither as far as Stringify is concerned).
- Toggle switch, based on the same variable as above
WHEN iFTTT Applet runs this Flow, ONLY IF when a variable is above 1 THEN turn off my Dimmer Switch
WHEN iFTTT Applet runs this Flow, ONLY IF when a variable matches 0 THEN turn on my Dimmer Switch
For some reason the variable isn't always set to anything which means flow #2 will do nothing.
