Wow @zand94 that's a lot of stringify automation.
I'll be honest, for my Arlo, I like keeping as much automation in the Arlo eco as possible mainly because it's faster. I have my schedule run most of the time, which is kinda complicated and took a while tweaking it just right. There are occasions when I'm working in the yard and I'll just turn everything off. But when I let my dog out back I have no way of putting that into my schedule, so I built another custom mode that only disables the recording, this way the motion can still trigger my outside lights at night. I also have smartthings and Google home, so when I am lazy, I'll just tell Google let the dog out, and my back yard cameras are disabled. Smartthings can treat Arlo as a switch and turn on and off. But really I'd rather change custom modes.
And ideally, I want custom modes available to 3rd parties, so I can just use my voice to change modes. I wish Arlo would work in that.
There is an app that it's part of smartthings called Arlo Pilot that a user built that can change custom modes. I had been using that for a month or 2 and it was great but Arlo has done something recent that caused a lot of authentication problems and the app hasn't worked since, and that user is supposed to try and fix his app, but has a lot of real life things tying up his time. So waiting patiently.
