When the thermostat is set to follow a schedule, and one uses the Honeywell Home app to change the temperature, the new temperature setting is temporary, until next schedule change. When Stringify changes the temperature, it is "permanent hold" (same with IFTTT). It would be nice if there were a choice of Temporary or Permanent.
The reason why Permanent is not always desired behavior is that the schedule is a backstop against errors or loss of communication. If the thermostat should become set accidentally to an undesirable high/low value for too long a time, the result could be a lot of expensive electricity or fuel usage, or even damage to equipment. This could happen as the result of a Stringify flow error, or a loss of communication with the remote app making it impossible to change the temperature while far away from home. If the schedule is running, at least you know that the temperature setting will revert back to normal in a few hours.
